ABOUT OUR PARK
Kia Ora!
Waimarama Holiday Park is operated by directors Karen Hema & Eru Smith, both of whom are kaitiaki (guardians of the land) for their whanau (family). Their purpose is future focused to continue to build the business and community for future mokopuna (grandchildren).
Karen lives on site with her husband and grandson and is a practice nurse during the week, all whilst running the admin side of the park. Her favourite thing about the land is the beach views and the peaceful, healing energy and sounds. She loves to unwind after a busy day on the beach.
Eru is a Waimarama local and is the hardworking handyman behind all the maintenance and development of the campsite. He is passionate about the outdoors and learned all his construction skills from his father.
